Harvest of the Sea Promotes Three Key Executives as Part of Strategic Growth Plan for 2021/2022
Harvest of the Sea announced the promotion of three key executives as part of the company’s plan to position for continued growth and expand its base of retail and food service clients: Eastern Regional Sales Manager and Corporate Chef, Scott West is now Director of Sales – East; Central Regional Sales Manager and culinary expert Jim Wade has been promoted to Director of Sales – West and Western Regional Sales Manager and Corporate Chef Ken Fryer has been made Corporate R & D Chef and Product Development Manager.
Despite the challenges of 2020, Harvest of the Sea experienced steady growth due to the increase in seafood consumption by U.S consumers – a trend that expanded demand from the firm’s major distributors and club accounts. The company has continued to focus on developing innovative, value-add products that will help food operators with cost and labor efficiencies as well as provide high-quality menu offerings as they tackle the hurdles of resetting their businesses. These products also provide new and on-trend marketing approaches for retailers. Harvest of the Sea is expanding its R&D division as well as their production and marketing activities to meet the opportunities and challenges of the post-COVID economy.
